Lowell’s infectiously energetic approach to the drums has kept him in demand on performances all over Toronto’s vibrant music scene. Since 2013, he has been heard on stage at Soulpepper Theatre Company as their resident drummer supporting over 15 different productions both locally and abroad. As a founding member of The Heavyweights Brass Band Lowell has had the opportunity to tour extensively as well as record their latest album, This City, in the birthplace of Jazz, New Orleans. Being a versatile musician has landed him in studios recording with many notable artists such as David Clayton-Thomas, Jane Bunnett, Jackie Richardson, percussionist Giovanni Hidalgo, Kevin Breit, Kalyna Rakel, Divine Brown, Patricia O’Callahan, Robi Botos and bassist / producer George Koller.
